Medical Center of McKinney offers psychiatric and behavioral medicine services to residents of the north Texas and Southern Oklahoma. Treatment is provided in a warm and nurturing environment where we treat adults with a wide range of psychiatric conditions including depression, anxiety, suicidal and/or aggressive behavior, psychotic thinking and bipolar disorder.
Adult Services
Adult treatment emphasizes short-term crisis stabilization, medication management and planning for on-going care.
The goals of treatment at Medical Center of McKinney’s Behavioral Medicine Services are to intervene in the current crisis, prevent further escalation, and re-establish coping skills.
Senior Services
Geriatric Behavioral Medicine Services provides a range of inpatient services to meet the mental health needs of older adults. The focus of treatment is for people around the age of 65 and older facing issues related to aging including coping, following through with their usual activities of living, new changes in their ability to remember and other similar issues.
