The goal of the Society of Chest Pain Centers is to significantly reduce the mortality rate of patients with chest pain by teaching the public to recognize and react to early symptoms of a possible heart attack, reducing the time it takes to receive treatment and increasing accuracy and effectiveness of treatment. Texas Ten Step Program
The Texas Ten Step (TTS) Program was developed by the Texas Department of Health (now the Texas Department of State Health Services) in collaboration with The Texas Hospital Association in 1999. It is designed to help hospitals and birthing centers support mothers in breastfeeding before, during and after delivery, with a goal of having 82% of all new mothers breastfeeding at discharge.
